Handmade Wabi-Sabi Pendant Light, Nordic Dome Shade

There is something quietly compelling about a light fitting that feels as though it has been shaped by hand rather than pressed from a mould. The Stenvorde dome pendant is crafted from high-density polystyrene using a handmade sculpting process, giving each shade its own subtly textured surface — no two are quite identical. Whether you hang a single shade above a bedside table or cluster three at varying heights over a dining table, the result is a space that feels considered and calm.

The organic, pebble-like silhouette draws on the Wabi-Sabi philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and simplicity. The matte exterior — available in warm white or soft grey — absorbs the surrounding light gently, while the open underside allows the warm glow of the included G9 bulb to spill downwards, creating a pool of inviting, amber-toned light beneath. It is the kind of atmosphere that makes a room feel lived-in and welcoming rather than showroom-stiff.
